Our program is based on the philosophy where that by accepting children as they are, placing them in a warm and loving environment, we will be able to encourage the children to attain their full potential.

Our beautifully designed facility was created for your children with low sinks, junior toilets, and beautiful outdoor areas for crawling, rolling, running, and jumping. Our play structures and toys have been carefully selected for your child’s developmental levels and meet California State Licensing requirements.

At Peter Pan Schools we are aware that children have a need to explore and discover their environment. The program will provide activities and materials that will enable the child to experience a wide range of developmental areas. Each day the children are exposed to nurturing learning centers which will stimulate the growing, creative and inquiring mind and sponge-like brain.

Our curriculum, staffed by experienced and highly qualified teachers, includes activities with a wide range of sensory motor manipulatives related to art, music, social skills, large and small muscle coordination, storytelling, puppets, and outside play including water play tables. Walking field trips to local surrounding areas are arranged for children in strollers and on foot. We also offer a complete system of toilet training that is gentle and rewarding for your child.

A “Child Evaluation” will be given to parents periodically to show your child’s growth and development. Parent/teacher conferences will be held on an optional basis.

Since outdoor playtime has an important role in the growth and development of your child, Peter Pan Schools offer a large park-like setting complete with ample play areas, sand box, and bark-chip surfaces. Your child will have many activities to choose from including water play, easel painting, riding cars & tricycles; or test their skills on one of the many secure climbing structures designed for your child’s height and comply with California State Licensing specifications.

Drop In Care
Drop in care is available for ages 2 years up to entry into 1st Grade.  Our Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Daily fees apply. If you need immediate, emergency care, or want to attend for a day or more, you can phone our school and see if we have openings for drop in care. (Only full day schedules accepted) Your child will join his/her particular age group in our school for the day. All regular admission procedures apply.

Nutrition
Peter Pan Schools provide lunch (prepared on site), morning & afternoon snacks, plus beverages throughout the entire day.

If your child is on baby food, you must bring your own food for the day. If your child needs a bottle you must bring your own prepared bottles.

The following items are required daily: disposable diapers, baby wipes, a crib-size sheet, blanket, extra sets of clothes, sunscreen, plastic bottles, etc.

All medications must be accompanied by a doctor’s prescription or note, and a signed school waiver form. We will dispense once daily (before or after lunch).
